Part of me is a wife and mom, part of me is a writer and poet and part of me is still a kid in jeans tooling around in my VW Beetle listening to Joni Mitchell, Carly Simon, James Taylor ... and The Beatles ...

Do you remember ...

Troll dolls were created by Thomas Dam, a Danish fisherman and
woodcutter.  In 1959 he carved a doll for his daughter for Christmas.
When other children in the town saw the doll and wanted one
a business was born.  Originally called Good Luck Trolls, they were
produced by Thomas’ company, Dam Things.  Troll dolls were popular
in the United States in the 60’s and, even though their popularity varies,
they never seem to fade away.

In 2003, troll dolls were added to the Century of Toys List by
Toy Industry Association.  The list commemorates the 100 most
memorable and most creative toys of the 20th century
