January 24 is Belly Laugh Day

I have it on good authority that today is Belly Laugh Day.

Out of curiosity I googled “silly crochet patterns.”

There were a lot of images of hats

(why anyone would want to wear a hat

that looks like you're wearing a head on your head

is beyond me)

but there was also what looked like a turtle cozy.

I clicked on the site and 'while it didn’t make me laugh,

it did make me smile.

Then I scrolled down and there it was

… the couch dress.

I’m still laughing

I'm sure all crafters (knitters included)

have a cringe-worthy project or two hiding in a forgotten cupboard.

Just be glad no one is posting pictures on the internet.
