It seems I've heard that song before ...

Puxitawny Phil has decreed that there is to be six more weeks of winter. According to the calendar, spring begins on March 20, which is about six weeks away. Now, as to the weather .... well .... we shall see. But, then, I live in California and our seasons are rainy, sunny and too darn hot (the order and frequency of which can vary.)

So, Happy Valentine's Day and here's hoping the snow is gone by St. Patrick's Day. Don't laugh. Growing up in Ohio, our new black patent leather shoes and pretty straw hats with the flowers on them were usually covered up with snowsuits when we went to church on Easter morning.
