Do you remember .....

Back in the 1930's, before it was Play-Doh, it was a wallpaper cleaner.

Then in the 50's  the need for wallpaper cleaner had decreased and,
by chance,
it was discovered that children had been using it to make
Christmas ornaments.

Voila! Play-Doh.

When I was a kid, along with a new box of crayons 

I also got a new box of modeling clay at Christmas.  It wasn't Play-Doh.  

It didn't have the pretty bright colors of Play-Doh 

and I have no idea what it was called
but even after I learned about Play-Doh, 

I still liked my modeling clay.
